We were told to give look at the Logo Artwork to have a hint at what the new battle system might be.

I noticed the colors, red and blue. I noticed the weapons for the red colored players. I noticed the weapons for the blue type players. I noticed the faces for them both.

They're different. The red still looks like players, just more evil. The blue look like players, just on the good side.

What i'm trying to say is, I think this game is going to be way more heavily PvP based. Square Enix were even talking about giant battles... What could be more fun than a giant battle of PvP?

Sort of "copying" war... but not directly, it's just the same idea.

Well, I've played a few MMO's and getting 64 people together for a single battle and having 1 or 2 drops has given those of us who have done it 100 times to know that it's a head-ache waiting to happen. 64 participants... 64 individual people saying things like, "my toes are cold", or "when are we starting?"... this is not hard-core gaming - it's babysitting 101.

What I do see from the logo is that formation is important and they could be little lame bonuses to fighting in formation like how FF11 has lame bonuses for doing SC with each other. Turns out... in FF11 it's better to just do SC alone since people have TP at different times and waiting for everyone to have enough is counter-productive.
