There will be times when adventurers will face one opponent at a time, and others where they take on a group at once. Nothing more has been revealed, though, although the development team did comment on how they haven't finalised the battle system yet. This is something the beta testers, playing the Final Fantasy 14 Beta, will have to help them with.
